Edwin Matos is a Partner and Co-Founder of BioPoint, where he oversees Operations and Technology and plays a central role in shaping the firm’s internal infrastructure and long-term direction. Since founding BioPoint in 2011, Ed has been one of the driving forces behind the team’s growth, helping build a roster of specialized consultants across Drug Safety/Pharmacovigilance, HEOR, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Assurance. Known for his resourcefulness and behind-the-scenes hustle, Ed is the kind of leader who quietly makes everything run smoother and usually gets credit for it about three years later. Born and raised in New York, Ed bleeds pinstripes and orange-and-blue, proudly repping the Yankees, Giants, and Knicks in the heart of Red Sox nation, a feat that requires either extraordinary courage or a very thick skin. When he’s not keeping BioPoint humming, Ed enjoys spending time with his growing family and finding new ways to convince his Boston colleagues that Derek Jeter was, in fact, the greatest of all time.
